What I do
My goal has always been to share and amplify other people's stories in a compassionate, honest, and impactful way. I am a film-maker, a photographer, a writer, and a developer of content for every type of platform. I specialize in crafting compelling narratives – with the ultimate goal of driving action and inspiring change
I also liaise with media, run training courses, record voiceovers, craft web and social media output, manage VIP relationships, and help build successful advocacy, awareness, and fundraising campaigns.
I have been consistently at the vanguard of transformation in the multimedia sector – including as a pioneer of video journalism – and an early adopter of new technologies. Today, generative and assistive AI are playing a transformational role in our industry and I have been working extensively with different platforms to test their efficacy and ethical implications.

About Me
My career has spanned journalism, television production, and 15 years in the international development sector. I have worked in over 30 countries, from Haiti to the Philippines, operating in some of the most complex environments on the planet and bearing witness to the highs and lows of human existence.

I work well in fast-paced environments, balancing creativity with pragmatism. I develop and create visual and written content across the multimedia spectrum and I have been intimately involved in the design and execution of countless productions and campaigns throughout my career. I bring energy, enthusiasm, and alternative thinking to every project and it is a point of principle to always deliver beyond expectations and within deadlines.

I am very independent but really thrive on collaboration.

Some background
My career in broadcast and print media was extensive, from humble beginnings as a "pirate" radio disk jockey to covering some of the biggest stories of our time for TV and radio. As a cameraman, reporter, producer, director, and editor, I have been deeply involved in making thousands of hours of current affairs, human interest, and documentary programming. I have helped deliver news of some of the most momentous political occasions, horrific conflicts, spectacular sporting events, and appalling natural disasters of our time.
I was there when Tony Blair and Barack Obama were first elected to high office, when the Good Friday Peace Agreement was signed in Northern Ireland, when famine struck Somalia in 2010, and when the search for survivors was ongoing in the desperate, desolate days after 9/11.
But just as importantly, I was also there when Mamie Matia gave birth to a healthy baby boy at a remote clinic in Sierra Leone and when Loralito Mengelu emerged unscathed from the ruins of her home in the wake of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines
All of this on-the-ground experience has served as a fantastic platform for my work in developing impactful content and campaigns in the field of human development.
